Whakatane Nurses Graduate

One of the nurses in the graduation ceremony of the Waikato Hospital last week, Miss Margaret Kirk, daughter of Mr and Mrs C. R. Kirk, Bridge Street, Whakatane, was selected to give a farewell speech to the staff of the hospital who had assisted the nurses in attaining their graduation certificates. Miss Kirk was one of the nurses who graduated in the State Finalists Nurses’ Examination. Another Whakatane girl to graduate was Miss Romola Winstone, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. W. Winstone, Victoria Avenue, Whakatane.
