Vice Versa Dance At Waimana Was Amusing Event

As was to be expected, quite the most amusing feature of a really entertaining night was the frocking of the men at the Waimana vice versa masquerade on Thursday night. Of course, the Beacon’s frock cards were on issue, but some of the glamorously attired males had a spot of bother describing their own dresses. One card came back with a terse “lovely” where it asks for a description. Well, • maybe it was. By the way, the spelling in the frock description is the wearers.’ Some of it is admittedly unconvential.

Strangely, a woman always more attractive in male gear than a man does in feminine frills (provided there is a certain amount of curve control) and some of the lasses really gave distinction to their borrowed suits

With the crowd in mirthful mood, it needed only the rhythm of King’s orchestra to set feet shuffling merrily, and a bright evening went with a swing throughout. Amongst those present in vice versa costumes were:—
