N.Z. HILL CLIMB FOR WHAKATANE The New Zealand Championship road hill climb is to be held by the Bay of Plenty Motor Cycle Club on the Hillcrest course at Whakatane on November 12. The Club has also been granted the Open Handicap hill climb and riders are expected to be competing in these events from all over New Zealand. Both races are being organised now and the total prize money available on that day will be about £7O. Several Whakatane and other Bay of Plenty riders will be riding in these events.
