PATON PLAYS WORLD CHAMPIONS There was a fine display of all the trick shots of table tennis _ by the two visiting world champions at present touring New Zealand, V. Barna and R. Bergman, at Tauranga on Tuesday night. Watched by a very large crowd, which included table tennis players from all over the Bay of Plenty, the two champions revealed a wide repertoire of shots and when they played the three'Bay champions, F. Paton, Whakatane, and A. Mcßride and L. Brewer, Tauranga, they were not extended at any stage. Paton played well and although he is considered one of New Zealand’s top players he was obviously not in the same class as the visitprs. Against Barna he lost 1-4—ll and against Bergman 12—6. t
