SOME ROUGH PLAY IN HARD SENIOR MATCH In the hardest game at Whaka 1 - tane this season Paroa A fought out a one point win, 24—23, over Olympics in the senior basketball championship on Saturday. Both teams were very even but the match was marred somewhat by rough players and abuse of the referee certain ■players. Results:— Paroa A 24 Olympics 23, Taneatua 21 The Stewarts 9, Redwings 19 The Mcßaes 9.
