Three New State Houses Completed
Three of the 12 State houses in the new block now being erected in Tuhoe Avenue, just off Stewart Street, Whakatane, have been completed for occupation. These are a four-bedroomed and two threebedroomed houses. Another house of four bedrooms is expected to be completed this week and will be available for occupation. Two others of two bedrooms have been finished by the carpenters and it is only left for the painters and electricians to complete their work before these will be turned over. Of the other six the carpenters are well forward with their work.
