Zip Fasteners For Sailors' Jackets
The Royal Navy is trying out zip fasteners for the skintight jumpers worn by British sailors to make it easier for them to put on and take off the garments. ‘
Bell-bottom trousers will still be worn without, pockets. The Admiralty says: “Pockets would catch on projections and endanger life.”
