Sheep Bothered by Wild Dogs.

One of the big worries of Alberta (Canada) sheepowners is the coyote, a species of wild dog which accounts for considerable losses among small flocks in the southern regions. Most of these losses are due to owners of small flocks not bothering to watch their flocks, and letting them roam on the fields unprotected. Coyotes even attack sheep during the daytime, and have been known to jump into corrals to get at their victims. Most of the attacks are made, however, on sheep which get lost in storms.
