23 Applications For New Houses

A total of 23 building applications for new houses have been dealt with by the county building inspector, Mr C. H. Brebner, from April 1 to .July 31 of this year he reported to yesterday’s meeting of the Whakatane County Council. The fees collected from these amounted to £173 10s. Twelve applications for alterations and additions with fees valued at £lB were received while for other buildings 15 applications were lodged. The fees collected here were dl 6s 6d. In addition to these permits Mr Brebner also dealt with a further 20 applications not requiring a County permit but needing a permit from the building controller.
