Edgecumbe W.I. Was Amused
Considerable amusement was caused at the monthly meeting of the Edgecumbe Women’s Institute by the efforts of members to tear an elephant out of newspaper. The competition was won by Mrs B. Graham, who presented a really realistic animal. The meeting, which was presided over by Mrs Hall, made a good collection towards the leper fund and it was left to despatch the link parcel to England to Mrs R. Ferguson. A new member, Mrs R. Martin, was welcomed and birthday spravs were presented to Mesclames Burgess, Souirie, Walsh, Watson and Mexted. Competition results; —
