VISITING RUGBY TEAM TO PLAY 12 GAMES ON TOUR
The Australian r.ugby team, which is to tour New Zealand this month, will play 12 games, including two tests.- The first match will be against King Country at Taumarunui next Wednesday and the following Saturday the team meets Bay of Plenty at Whakatane. The first test will be at Welling ton on September 3 and the second" the final game of the tour will be at Auckland on September 24. On this tour there will be no against the Maoris. The following is the team’s itinerary:— August 17 v King Country at Taumarunui; August 20 v Bay of Plenty at Whakatane; August 24 v Poverty Bay-East Coast at Gisborne; August 27 v Wairarapa-Bush at Masterton; August 31 v ManawatuHorowhenua at' Palmerston North; September 3 v New Zealand at Wellington; September 7 v NelsonGolden Bay-Motueka at Blenheim; September 10 v West Coast-Bulier at Greymouth; September 14 v Ashburton - South Canterbury - North Otago at Oamaru; September 17 v Otago at Dunedin; September 21 v Canterbury at Christchurch; Seotember 24 v New Zealand at Auckland.
