Gifts Made To Whakatane Hospital
Appreciation of voluntary sewing for the hospital done by various people was expressed by members of the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board at Whakatane yesterday. Along with this voluntary work the following gifts were made to the hospital last month:—
Books and magazines: Mesdames G. Law, F. Matson, Cowie, Hawkins, Rutherford, Goodall, West, Rivett, Dodunski, D. J. Wilson; Misses K. C. Francis, Waldegrave, J. Henry; Messrs Franklin, Bevan, Radford; Edgecumbe Women’s Institute; primary school children (standards 2 and 3). Comics: Master Campbell Patterson, Miss Judith Henry. Flowers: Edgecumbe Women’s Institute, Mrs Seebeck. Flower plants: Mesdames N. Craig, W. J. Simons. Produce: Edgecumbe Women’s Institute. Tray and face cloths: Edgecumbe and Waimana Women’s Institutes. Fruit: Mesdames Foubister, Seebeck; Messrs K. Jarrett, Palmer, A. Nicol.
