New Bay Of Plenty ’Phone Directory

With the established and developing community of interest between the Bay of Plenty and Rotorua districts now being reflected in the volume of telephone traffic between these areas, it is proposed to introduce a new telephone directory to be called “Bay of Plenty and Rotorua Districts” announced the Postmaster-General (Mr Hackett) yesterday. The new directory will contain subscribers’ listings for Katikad, Matata, Opotiki, Tauranga, Taneatua, Te Teko, Te Puke, Waimma and Whakatane, at present listed in the Thames directory, and. all those exchanges rt present listed in the Rotorua directory.
