WEDDING
McGEACHIE—BEARD
The residence of Mr and Mrs T. G. Roberts, Edgecumbe, was the scene of a pretty wedding on‘Saturday when Miss Joyce Beard, Te Teko, was married to Mr Donald McGeachie, Christchurch. . The ceremony, which took on the lawn, was performed by Mr C. Kenyon, Tauranga. The bride, who was given away by her 'brother, Mr J. Beard, wore a coral pink two pieced suit of silk moire and carried a bouquet of blue irises and hyacinths. 1 The bridesmaid, Miss Gladys Anderson, Manawahe, wore a suit of azure bl«ue silk moire, and carried a bouquet of pink single camellias. The bridegroom was attended, by Mr H. Anderson, Manawahe. Mrs Roberts received the guests wearing a two piece woollen suit of saxe blue, with navy accessories and a shoulder spray of pink shaded cyclamens. Mr and Mrs McGeachie left on a trip to Taranaki, the bride looking very smart in a pinned and blue striped costume with black accessories, and wearing a shoulder snray of blue hyacinths. They will make their future home at Christchurch,
