STRONG BOXING TEAM FOR ROTORUA

A strong team .of Whakatane boxers is. being prepared for the boxing tournament to be held at Rotorua this month. Gym work three nights a week, as well as other home training is being carried out and most of the school have improved remarkably since the tournament held at Whakatane recently K. Dines and K. O’Rourke, who fought fine bouts when they first stepped into the ’ ring a fortnight ago, are expected to be greatly improved when they fight at Rotorua. I. McKenzie is fitter than he was and so are many of the younger boys. .
