No Holiday For School Children
School children will not have a holiday during the Empire Games in February, the Auckland Education Board decided. The chairman, Mr G. K. Hamilton, said that it had found that most of the sports of in-' terest to children would either be held in the evenings or on Saturdays. However, “school journeys'’ could be made to the Games, he added.
