Green Stockings Being Manufactured
Colour has been, the big news in autumn hosiery styles in the United States. Lovely new shades have been featured to blend with the rich autumn fashion colours. With green so important on the fashion centre; hosiery manufacturers' have placed on the market a dark green which is designed for wear with varying shades of green. It also blends well with amber, topaz, mahogany hues, and dark browns. Another newcomer is a wine tone made to blend with the popular burgundy, garnet, rich purple, and ruby red. It can be effectively coupled, too, with costumes of smoke grey and navy and steel blues. Since navy blue is being promoted very heavily for winter wear there is a new deep blue colour in hosiery which can be worn with all shades of navy and can also double with costumes of grey and wine shades.
“So you’re going to Whakatane. Do you think the climate will agree with your wife?” “It wouldn’t dare not to.”
