Electric Clock For Awakeri School
There was more of a social atmosphere at the monthly meeting of the Awakeri Parent-Teacher Association last week. Perhaps the most important business of the meeting was the act of the chairman in presenting the school with an electric clock, which was received by the headmaster, Mr Anderson.
Later in the evening several competitions between the men and women were held and items were given bv Mesdames Roberts and Jensen (sketch) and Mrs Goodwin (recitation).
