Shot In Head & Got Black Eye
Shot in the head with a .22 bullet at two feet range, a farmer at Kerang, Victoria, said he did' not even suffer a headache, but he did get a black eye. A rifle discharged accidentally as the farmer was leaning it against a tractor. The bullet struck the frontal bone. The farmer walked half a mile to a shed and then rode a bicycle a mile to a house, when he was taken to hospital. The bullet, which had been flattened to the shape of the bone, was removed in hospital.
