German Wives May Soon Re-Marry
After this month more than 1,800,000 missing German soldiers may be legally declared “dead.” if their wives want to re-marry.
All the wives have to do is to go to the courts and then wait a brief time. Their missing husbands will be declared “officially and legally dead.”
This will not solve the mystery of the whereabouts of the missing 1,800,000 but, German legal experts say it will clarify the status of many thousands of German women married to the missing.
