BAY OF PLENTY HOSPITAL BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN Notice is hereby given that the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board proposes at its meeting to be held on the 11th day of August, 1949, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £32,000 for the purpose of erecting and furnishing Domestic Staff Quarters at the Whakatane Hospital. The charges in respect of the said loan will be met from the ordinary revenues of the Board, consisting mainly of payments from the Social Security Department, Levies on contributory Local Bodies limited to .5 pence per £ of rateable capital value, and Government Subsidy. The effect of the loan charges on the revenue of the Board will be to increase the amount of subsidy payable by the Government. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
