Hyde, of Rotorua, will commence visiting Whakatane each Tuesday from August 2 and may be consulted between the hours 2-4 p.m. at No. 10 Louvain Street. 215 BAY OF PLENTY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN Notice is hereby given, that the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board proposes at its meeting to be held on the 15th day of August, 1949 to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board r its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £45,000 (Forty-five thousand pounds) for the purpose of further reticulation of electric power within the whole of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District. The security of such a loan shall be a special rate of Jd (one half of one penny) in the Pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Bay of Plenty Electric Power District. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writ_ ing to the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
