A heavy ground at Te Aroha upset both the Central Bay of Plenty representative hockey teams on Saturday, the women losing 2—o to Waikato, and the men losing 4—l to Piako. The women’s match was"' Very, even throughout, and our team was unlucky not to draw. In the men’s game, Central Baylacked penetration in the forwards and the backing up of the halveswas weak.
