ROTARIANS LOSE MATCH - SHOOT
The meeting between Rotary and the Legion of Frontiersmen Rifle Club on Thursday last, provided a most enjoyable evening’s sport for alii concerned.
Although Rotary suffered defeat this time, the Rifle Club will have to look to its laurels if the Rotarians decide to come down to the Club shoots and put in a little practice with the target rifles. After the - competition shoot, an Own Start sweepstake was shot, this being won by Mr H. G. Warren, of the. Rotary Club. During a buffet close of the evening, Gjß were presented. C. Bathe won the Silver and Miss Furze won the 'Junior!^ pennant. The team results for the shoot were: Legion Rifle Club ‘A’ Team 366, Rotary £ A’ Team 304, Legion. - Rifle CMb £ B’ Team 327, Rotary £ B’ Team 248. Individual scores Rotary: H. Warren. 80, E. Ra ley 77,' C. L. strong 62, R. 48.
