BAY OF PLENTY TRIAL TEAM SELECTED
A trial match between teams-re-presenting Rotoru and- ICuatoki was played on the Ruatoki domain last week-end. The purpose of the match was to select a Bay of Plenty representative side to meet Waikato - at Rotorua on Sunday. The game-'-ended in a draw, six-all. The Bay of Plenty selectors, Messrs D. Mohi and F. Topata, attended the game and after the match selected the following team to play Waikato for the Maori trial at Rotorua:—
Bay of Plenty: Tamai, Kruger, Morgan, Biddle, Hohua, Phillips, T. Takao, Roberts, Ngahuru, H. Williams, Thompson, J. Dix, Milroy. Reserves, (backs), Ahipene, Jacob: (forwards), B. Takoa, Tamai, Whet'u.
