Edgecumbe Hockey Dance

The first of four fortnightlydances was held in the Awakeri hall on Saturday night. Like past Edgecumbe Hockey Club dances, jt proved very popular. The music was supplied by the Melody Masters and a very popular extra was played by Miss N. Huish, assisted vocally by Miss Betty Hodge, whose songs were very easy to . listen to. The Monte Carlo was won by Miss Beverley Murray partnered by Mr Graham Marx. Mr Ben Hill proved a very capable M.C.
