Money Stolen From Footballers
Money to the total value of about £8 was stolen from clothes left in the A. and P. shed at the Whakatane Domain on Saturday. The property of players of the United junior football team the money was taken while the team was playing and the theft was not discovered until sometime after. Nothing else is believed to have been taken. The theft has been reported to the police.
