No House Shortage!
One man contends that there is no shortage of houses at Whakatane. He has a large house and has been wanting to let a big room with the other conveniences. After several advertisements he has given up as there have not been any replies. He is so fed up now that he will not consider letting the room. In reply to this, a resident now living at the Whakatane Domain under the most atrocious conditions and an applicant for a State house says he is not trying to find improved living quarters for fear of affecting his application.
