2,035 Dogs Registered With 452 dogs registered during June a total of 2,035 have been registered in the Whakatane County in 1949. The fees paid are £564 10s. Sheep Worrying at Ruatoki

A case of sheep worrying at Ruatoki was investigated by the county inspector last month and two dogs were found to be causing the trouble. A good steady flow of applications have been made to the county inspector for driver’s licences. During last month 755 were issued, a total of 1,677 for the year for a value of £407 ss. This is more than the 1,470 issued for the same period last year when £407 5s was collected.
