No Tail Lights
Five traffic offenders, charged before Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at , Whakatane yesterday by Transport Department traffic inspector, M. C. Bridge, were convicted and fined 5s each, costs 10s in three of the cases and 12s in the other two. They were: John William Borrie, Patrick Gardiner, William Hughes and Aubrey Charles Theobald, riding bicycles at night without rear red reflectors; Andrew Buckley Keen, operating a motor vehicle without a tail lamp.
