Silver Wedding
The Silver anniversary of the wedding of Mr and Mrs Eric Bownard was celebrated at their' home at Awakeri on Friday and was attended by about thirty guests. The breakfast was a very happy affair with the usual toasts being proposed. After a high tea, the evening was enjoyed with music, singing and dancing. Mr and Mrs Downard received many presents and the good wishes from all.
