Was Santa Claus “Skun?”

The biggest headache of one of Sydney’s largest public hospitals at Christmas was the task of ensuring that* none of the child patients spotted any of their five Santa Clauses together. They have so many children that it takes five to do the job on Christmas Eve.

Last year,' one of the Santas hung his clothes, cap and beard on a peg in the cloak-room while he had a breather.

The apparel was sighted by a child, who burst into tears because she thought the hospital medicos had. “skun” Father Christmas!
