Snake Hire

Most if not all creatures serve some useful purpose, if we but knew it. Snakes are among them.

Harry Kemp, of Sydney, N.S.W., has begun a snake hiring service. For forty years past Harry has sold snakes at £1 each to catch rats in warehouses. Now he is hiring them out at so much a foot.

Harry’s first snake hire was a 4foot reptile to a big store, to be transferred later to a cake factory.
