Phototelegrams Are Popular

During the past year over a hundred phototelegrams have been handled by the Post Office overseas phototelegram service, according to Wellington Post Office officials. The service can be used not only for the normal photographic traffic, but signature, X-rays, and photographs for identification purposes. Almost any picture or document can be sent. Phototelegrams are sent over normal overseas radiotelephone circuits, and while these are not in use for photo traffic they are used for overseas telephone calls.
