Whakatane Nurses Pass State Exam

With the work well up to the standard of previous years three passes were gained by nurses now training at the Whakatane District Hospital in the preliminary State Examination, according to the results which have just been released. The successful Whakatane nurses were:—

Nurses R. B. Cribb, E. D. Laloli. M. Tuauwhenua.

Now that the Whakatane Hospital has been raised to the status of an A grade training school, these nurses will be able to continue training at Whakatane before they sit for their final state exam at the end of three years’ training.
