Miss P. O. Stewart returned to Whakatane yesterday after a 'brief holiday at Tolaga Bay.
Mr and Mrs R. Jones, Whakatane, returned on . Saturday after a brief trip to Auckland.
Mi's F. Sims, Melbourne, and Mrs H. A. Wardlaw, Hamilton, are at present holidaying at Whakatane and are the guests of - Mr and Mrs C. Sims.
Friends of Mrs K. D. Riches (nee Cecily Cottrell of Whakatane) be interested to learn that hej^
husband, Petty Officer K. Riches, who was on loan to the New Zealand Navy, has been recalled to the Imperial Fleet, and will be leaving shortly. Mrs Riches will accompany him and they will make their future home at Golchester, England. They will sail by the s.s, Rimutaka on July 19. /
