CARD EVENINGS AT EDGECUMBE END

There was a good attendance at the Edgecumbe Parent-Teacher Association card evening at the Edgecumbe school on Monday night. Prize winners were Mrs Andrews and Mr R. J. Pattison. Mrs T. Davies and Mr J. Vickery won the booby prizes. As this was the last card evening aggregate prizes were given, Mr and Mrs J. Bell being the winners.

Altogether six card evenings were held and the association made a profit of £lO, which will be handed over to the school.
