Rangitaiki Sub-Branch Of Blanket Society
At the annual meeting of the Rangitaiki Sub-Branch of the Plunket Society, the following officers were elected:—
President, Mrs J. W. Spiers; vicepresidents, Mesdames J. Andersen, J. Thomas; secretary-treasurer, Mrs G. H. Irving; committee, Mesdames Burgess, Magee, Yardley, Nowland, Watson, R. Sutton, J. Sutton, Mackrell, Allan, Francis, Lennon, Burn, McCorquindale, Lazenby, Blake, C.. Hyland. Thanks were passed to Mr R. E. Blair (auditor) and he was again re-appointed. Votes of thanks were also passed to the secretary and retiring committee for their work during the past year. Mrs Spiers (president) expressed her great appreciation of Mrs A. Thomas’s (retiring president) work for the Plunket Society during her many years as president and regrets at her leaving the district. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £7l.
