Flag 500 At Taneatua
The first flag 500 evening of the series being run by the Junior National Party at Taneatua was held last week. It was a very enjoyable evening, and a bright fire added to the comfort of those present. Those at the winning table were Mrs G. Symmans and Mrs E. Hill, Mr G. Symmans and Mr G. Print. 9he “boys” table won the booby prize. They were Geoff O’Brien, Matt Doran, Jim Goodhew and Arch Wardlaw.
After supper had been served by the women of the Junior National Party, Mr A. Wardlaw, president, thanked those present for their support, and the donor of prizes.
