All Blacks Win

Before a crowd of 40,000 the All Blacks opened their tour of South Africa today at Capetown by defeating Western Province Universities by 11 points to 9. For New Zealand points came from two tries, one each by Henderson and Thornton■ and one converted by Scott, who also kicked a penalty goal. New Zealand lost the scrums 43 to 22 and the lineouts 24 to 9. The game was hard and fast throughout. Universities points were two penalty goals and an- unconverted try.
