Maori v Pakeha Rugby Tomorrow

The first big Rugby match of the year for the Whakatane Rugby SubUnion takes place at the Whakatane Domain at 2.30 p.m. tomorrow when Maoris will play the Pakehas for the Jackson Shield. Pakehas are the holders of the trophy and they have selected a strong team to face the equally strong Maori team. This game will probably provide attractive football and any players who are unable to play or who are not sure what gear to bring are asked to get in touch with the Union secretary or any of the selectors. Two players, O. Anderson and Rolfe were omitted from the Pakeha team published on Monday.
