Farming Officers Elected
There was a big attendance to the annual conference of Bay of Plenty Federated Farmers held at Whakatane yesterday. Delegates of branches from all over the Bay of Plenty were present. Officers elected:-^-
President, Mr S. A. Wells (Katikati); vice-presidents, Messrs A. Robins (Edgecumbe), and R. F. Wardlaw (Waimana) ; Dominion Council delegate, Mr Wells; Dominion conference delegates, Messrs Robins and Wardlaw; delegate to Waikato Educational Committee, Mr A. L. Friis (Te Puna); representative nominee oh Wellington Insurance Farmers’ Union, Mr Wells; transport committee, Messrs C. D. Vercoe (Tauranga), D. C. Butler (Rangitaiki), H. S. Holmes (Opotiki),. N. L. Stone (Katikati), J. W. Rowe (Ohauiti); representative on the Bay of Plenty Pig Council, Mr H. E. Missen (Rangitaiki).
