Loyal Taneatua Lodge
Due to the inclement weather, there was a poor attendance at the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Taneatua Lodge. In the absence of N.G. Bro. R. White, I.P.N.G. Sis. Garner presided over the meeting. P.G. Bro. Teesdale gave a report on the Ritual Contest, which was won by Loyal Rangitaiki Lodge, and tendered his resignation as Ritual Judge, as he is leaving the district. This resignation was received with regret, but the appointment of another Ritual Judge was left until a later date.
P.G. Sis. H. J. Frost gave a short report on the United Friendly Societies meeting, and P.G. Bro. Harhis reported a very pleasant evening spent at the Loyal Rotorua Lodge. Final' arrangements were made for the stall at the Paddy’s Market on May 20, and members were asked to bring donations of cakes, produce and anything saleable. Several members intimated their intention of attending the Loyal Rangitaiki Lodge birthday party on Tuesday next. As there were so few members present, the remainder of the evening was spent in playing off further rounds in the Indoor Bowls Singles Championship.
