Young Farmers Leave Today On Tour
Eleven members of Young Farmers’ Clubs from this district leave their homes today to join the Wanganella at Auckland and sail for Sydney tomorrow. Arranged by the Western Bay of Plenty Young Farmers’ Clubs, the tour is to cover' a good deal of territory and will embrace much that is of agricultural interest.
Also, they will be given a good look at tourist attractions, including the Jenolan Caves and the Blue Mountains.
The party from this district comprises Messrs J. G. Black and E. de L. Le Lievre, Whakatane; C. D. Burke, Kutarere; N. M. Clark and B. W. Stevenson, D. A. Wardlaw and J. H. White, Waimana; J. A. Goile, Thornton; J. C. Hawken, Edgecumbe; D. R. Herdman and J. A. Sax. Wainui.
