IYZ BAY OF PLENTY BEING HEARD ALL OVER DOMINION
Replies have been received from all over New Zealand, and even from outside the country from listeners who have heard the new Bay of Plenty station IYZ. The station manager, Mr K. G: Collins, up to the beginning of this week had received over 240 congratulatory letters from interested listeners, who have reported on the reception of the station. One comes from New Calt}donia. Here are some of the remarks:— Noumea: “Great strength and quality.” Kaitaia: “Coming through perfectly.” The Bluff: “Reception faultless and as clear as Invercargill. New Plymouth: “IYZ received perfectly, particularly the Maori items.”
Masterton: “Strongest signal on the air.” Temuka: “Maori items carried perfectly to the largest pa in the South Island.”
Hokitika: “As good as 3YZ Greymouth, only 25 miles away.”
