State Houses For Taneatua?

Recently a deputation representing the Taneatua Progressive League discussed with Mr W. Sullivan M.P. the prospects of having a number of State houses allocated to Taneatua. They were able to report back to Tuesday night’s meeting of the, League that Mr Sullivan had given the opinion that there,was a good chance that representations to the appropriate quarters would be successful. Taneatua needs at least 20 houses urgently, and the League hopes it will be possible to get tenders for 10 of them fairly soon if the Government agrees to build.
