More Fire Plugs Wanted
Provision of two more fire plugs at Whakatane is to be requested by the Whakatane Fire Board, who are to approach the Whakatane Borough Council in the matter. The Board will ask that plugs be placed in Valley Road and in the Witchell Estate. These . areas have only recently been built upon and are rapidly becoming more thickly settled.
