Waimana R.S.A. Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Waimana branch of the R.S.A. was held recently, there being 21 members present. Mr C. R. White presided. Mr D. Wilson, president of the Whakatane R.S.A., congratulated the Waimana branch on the report and balance sheet. It was decided to make the R.S.A. ball an annual'function. Anzac Day Service will be held this 4 year and the services of the Whakatane Boys’ Band are to be secured. Election of officers: Chairman, Mr C. R. White; vice-chairman, Mr J. L. Burnett; secretary-treasurer, Mr J. Cain; committee, Messrs W. Piana, W Stevenson, A. Macdonald, D. Stubbing, W. Reid, A. Sullivan were elected by ballot; social committee, Chairman, Vice-chairman, Secretary and Messrs F. Mitchell, J. Cranswick, and E. McGillivray; auditor, Mr C. Such; delegates to the Whakatane R.S.A., Chairman and Secretary.
