Waimana Club’s Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Waimana Football Club was held recently, Mr Potter in the chair. Election of officers: Patron, Mr H. Pell; president, Mr N. F. Potter; ‘ vice-presidents, Messrs M. Mannion. H. White, A. Ruff; secretary-tfeas-urer, Mr J. T. Cain (re-elected, and appreciation of his services recorded); club captain, Mr W. Hiko; committee, President, Secretary, Messrs J. Black, G. Mitchell, Wi Hiko, C. Boynton, R. Bell, R. Linwood, F. Sterling; selectors, senior, Mr J. Black, junior, Mr W. Hiko, third grade, Messrs J. Cain and C. Boynton; rep. selectors, seniors, Mr J. Black, junior, Mr H. Spanhake. The question of centralisation was discussed and the delegates were instructed to vote against it. Subscriptions will be the same as last year. The club is to buy the jerseys and sell to the players.
