Sir, —On behalf of those present at last Wednesday’s demonstration by members of the Opotiki Archery Club will you please accept the grateful thanks of local enthusiasts for your help in getting archery started in Whakatane. Your assistance in this direction is, I assure you, greatly appreciated by all concerned. I should also like, through you, to express thanks to Mr Larmer, President, and Mr and Mrs Chatfield, Captain and Secretary respectively of the Opotiki Club'for kindly coming over and giving us such demonstration and advice.
